Mrs. M. Patterson Passed Away Here Saturday Morning
Funeral Services Conducted This (Monday) Afternoon at P.V. Patterson Home
Mrs. Mary Jane Patterson, mother of Perry V. Patterson, Wahpeton, died at 8:15 Saturday morning at the home of her son. Private funeral services are to be conducted at the Patterson home here on Monday afternoon at two o’clock, Reverend Coombs will officiate.
Mrs. Patterson, who was born April 10, 1859, in New York state, had been ill since Christmas and was bed-ridden. She had lived for the past eight years at the home of her son here. Before that time, she made her home near Wyndmere.
Her husband, John V. Patterson, died in 1918 at Gracedon, S.D. The family came to Aberdeen vicinity in 1886 where they homesteaded. Geo. V. Felch, a husband of a previous marriage, passed way in New York state.
She is survived by two sons, Perry V. Patterson, Wahpeton, and George V. Felch of Aberdeen, S.D. Pallbeares will be George Hedner, John Mathieson, Homan Anderson, Chester Clucky, H. Fleschman, and Louis Prochaski. Interment will be Fairview cemetery.
