Obituary
Mrs. Arvid L. Pearson, 57, Once Dwight Resident, Dies
Mrs. Arvid (Lillian) Pearson, 57, died Dec. 20 in Minneapolis. She was a former Dwight resident.
Funeral services were held Dec. 22 at Vertin’s Funeral Chapel with Rev. Marvin L. Hartmann officiating. Mrs. Pearson was laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery.
Lillian Holm was born June 4, 1909 at Dwight. She was raised there and attended schools in the Dwight and Wahpeton areas. She was married to E. L. Larson June 24, 1925 in Dwight where the couple lived for several years.
She later worked at the Hotel Wahpeton before going to Minneapolis where she was employed by a tool and die company during World War II.
She was married to Arvid L. Pearson in 1943 in Minneapolis. They continued to live in Minneapolis. Following his death she remained in Minneapolis. She had been ill for several months.
Surviving are two sons, Norman L. Larson, Minneapolis, Max Larson, Los Angeles, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Clara Meyer, Wahpeton, Mrs. Kenneth (Amy) Nelson, Fergus Falls, and Mrs. Herman (Johanna) Tiegs, Alemeda Calif.; two brothers, Arthur, Holm Conrad Mont.; and Orlando Holm, San Yeidro, Calif.
Preceding her in death were her husband, parents, and two brothers.
Mrs. Horace Lahren will be organist.
