Obituary
T. F. Pope Dies Monday Morning
Thomas Frederick Pope, resident of Wahpeton since 1922, died Monday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. R. J. Thurlow. He was born Oct. 9, 1870, at Pipe City, Ill., and came to Hope in 1882. He was married to Martha Fuller in 1892. She survives him as do four children: Mrs. George B. Carpenter, Hope, Mrs. Thurlow, Meryl E. and Warren R. F., the latter three all of Wahpeton. A sister, Mrs. George Knowles lives at McMinnville, Ore. He has lived in Wahpeton continuously since 1922 with the exception of a winter spent in Arizona and two spent in Oregon. Funeral arrangements have not been completed. The body is at the Vertin chapel here.
