Obituary
Leo Paulson
Services for Leo Paulson, 81, Wahpeton, will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Bethel Lutheran Church in Wahpeton. Mr. Paulson died Monday morning at the Wahpeton Rehabilitation Center. Rev. Robert Olson will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Tuesday afternoon and evening at Vertin's Wahpeton Chapel. There will also be visitation for one hour prior to services at the church.
Casket bearers are Lyle Osmundson, Alan Osmundson, Robert Doleshy, Earl Wold, Merle Johnson, and Leonard Flaa.
Leo Paulson was born October 25, 1895 at Dwight, N.D. to Christian and Bertha (Bergum) Paulson. He attended Dwight area schools and served in WWI in France.
On Jan. 10, 1927 he married Violet O. Johnson at Breckenridge. The couple lived near Galchutt and moved to Wahpeton in 1944. He was employed by the Wahpeton Pottery and later for the Wahpeton Hotel.
He was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church.
He is survived by three brothers, Alvin, Brownsville, Texas, Frank, Rochester, Minn., Barney, Wahpeton; two sisters, Mrs. Sherman (Jean) Page, Wahpeton, Mrs. William (Ethel) Enkers, Breckenridge.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Violet, Oct. 23, 1973; three brothers, and three sisters.
