Violet Paulson

Funeral services for Violet (Mrs. Leo) Paulson, 68, of Wahpeton will be 11 a.m. Friday at Bethel Lutheran Church, Wahpeton, with Rev. Marvin L. Hartmann officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Mrs. Paulson died Tuesday at her home.

Organist for the service will be Mrs. Vernon Hektner and vocalist will be Steve Wateland.

Casket bearers are Gerald Johnson, Charles Oberg, Merle Johnson, Dean Twidwell, Arvid Okland and Ronald Syvertson.

Visitation will be Thursday afternoon and evening at Vertin's-Wahpeton.

Mrs. Paulson was born Feb. 1, 1905, at Dwight, to John and Minnie (Asheim) Johnson. She married Leo Paulson Jan. 10, 1927. They farmed near Galchutt until 1944, when they moved to Wahpeton. She was employed at St. Francis Home, Clem's Cafe and Wahpeton Pottery and was a member of Bethel Lutheran.

Survivors include her husband Leo, Wahpeton; brother Arthur, Wahpeton; four sisters, Miranda (Mrs. Walter) Oberg and Sivanhild (Mrs. Henry) Syvertson, both of Wahpeton, Myrtle (Mrs. Albert) Okland, Bisbee, N.D., and Fern (Mrs. Henry) Knudson, Grand Forks. She was preceded by her parents and two brothers.
