Obituary
Glenn Peterson
Funeral services for Glenn Peterson, 62, Wahpeton, were held Monday at 2 p.m. at Vertin's Wahpeton Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Robert Olson officiating. Burial was at Fairview Memorial Gardens, Garden of Christus.
Mr. Peterson died Saturday at St. Francis Hospital, Breckenridge.
Organist was Mrs. Horace Lahren and vocalist was Mrs. R. L. Williams.
Casket bearers were Warren Schuett, Monroe Moen, George McCullough, Jr., Harold Diederich, Warren Doberstein and Dale McMichael.
Glenn Peterson was born July 11, 1912 at Wahpeton to Martin and Lena (Hysjulien) Peterson.
He was graduated from Wahpeton High School and employed by Dakota Motors. From 1947 until his retirement in June, 1974, he taught auto mechanics at the State School of Science.
He married Vi Portney June 21, 1938 at Sisseton, S. D.
Survivors include four brothers, Clifford of Boulder, Colo., Reuben of Bismarck, Vernon of Fargo and Earl of Minneapolis.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Vi, who died in December, 1973.
Arrangements were with Vertin's Wahpeton Funeral Home.
