Obituary
Quill Baby Dies Friday
Funeral services were held for baby Mary M. Quill Saturday afternoon from the Vertin Funeral Home in Wahpeton. Rev. P. A. Gisvold officiated. Burial was made in Fairview Cemetery here in Wahpeton.
Baby Mary Margaret Quill was born April 25th at St. Francis Hospital in Breckenridge. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Quill of Barney, N.Dak. She passed away early Friday morning at the St. Francis Hospital. She leaves to mourn her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Quill.
** Mary Joyce Breuer provided additional information about the Quill family. Mrs Leonora Werner Quill passed away in 1994 at the age of 83. She is interred in the Werner cemetery, Halliday, ND. There were other children: Eleanor, birth date unknown, died in 2013 in Nebraska, at the Nebraska School for the Deaf. Eleanor had been deaf her entire life and her mother started her in the school for the deaf located in Champaign, Ill.
Gordan was born in August, 1944. He is a farmer near Mandan.
It is possible that this small family has a member interred in 4 different cemeteries.
