Obituary
Mrs. George Schroeder Rites To Be Held Wednesday
Mrs. George J. (Nora) Schroeder, Wahpeton, died Sunday on arrival at St. Francis Hospital in Breckenridge.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 3 p.m. in the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Rev. Edward J. Rutter officiating.
Mrs. Schroeder was born July 2, 1900 at Devillo Township near Fairmount to parents, Fred and Martha Stein. She was raised in this area and attended schools there. She was confirmed in the Immanuel Lutheran Church at Hankinson in 1941 by Rev. Klausler.
Following their marriage they came to Wahpeton where they have resided since.
She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wahpeton.
Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Alfred of Mountain View, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Betty) Foster of Braunsdale, Minn.; three brothers, Robert Stein of Doran, Louis Stein of Sheboygan, Wis.; and Reinhard of Anaheim, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Rudolph (Mathilda) Schroeder of Wahpeton, Mrs. George (Bernice) Zentgraf of Fairmount and Mrs. Clarence (Edna) Johnson of Oshgosh, Wis.
She was preceded in death by parents and one son, Elroy in 1963.
A prayer service at Vertin's Wahpeton Chapel will be at 9 p.m. Tuesday with visitation that afternoon and evening.
Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ralph Schroder, Cyril Schroeder, Rudolph Schoeneck, Henry Schoeneck, Lloyd Zentgraf and Earl Zentgraf.
