Obituary
AUGUST SCHROEDER, SR., DIED OF PHEUMONIA
The death of August Schroeder occured Tuesday morning of this week at 2:00 o'clock, at the Breckenridge hospital, a result of pneumonia. He had been ill for a period of only a few days.
Mr. Schroder is a native of Germany, but for many years he had resided in Summit township near Great Bend, where he had prospered greatly. About a year ago he retired from active life, and moved his family to Wahpeton.
He is survived by his wife and nine children, - August Sr.,, of Great Bend, Albert and Paul of Fairmount, George and Rudolph of Wahpeton; Alvina Schoenick of Wahpeton, Bertha Stein of Rolla, N. D., and Carrie Bohn of Great Bend.
The funeral will be held this morning at 11 o'clock in the German Lutheran church under direction of J. W. Worner, Rev. Meier conducting the ceremonies. Interment will be in Fairview cemetery.
