Obituary
W. E. Sedler
WAHPETON - William E. Sedler, 80, 709 North 8th Street, died Thursday at St. Francis Hospital. The funeral will be at 1:30 Monday at Bethel Lutheran Church with the Rev. Marvin L. Hartmann officiating. Interment will be Fairview Cemetery at Wahpeton.
Visitation will be Sunday afternoon and evening at Vertin's-Wahpeton Funeral Home and at the church prior to services.
Mr. Sedler was born March 16, 1891, in Belfored Township near Mantador, the son of William and Emily (Otto) Sedler. The family moved to a farm in Center Township where he resided until 1939 when he moved to Wahpeton. He was the caretaker of the Fairview Cemetery and was custodian of several Wahpeton churches and the Wahpeton National Bank. He was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church.
He is survived by two sisters, Miss Martha Sedler and Mrs. Ben (Olga) Witte, both of Wahpeton; one niece, Mrs. Gerald (Bonnie) Dick of Lisbon; and one grandniece, Sherry Dick.
