James Shebeck Dies Thursday At Hospital Here
Retired Farmer Came From Bohemia As Young Child
James Shebeck, retired farmer and resident of Richland county the past 36 years, died at St. Mary hospital Thursday morning at the age of 76. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
Born in Bohemia he came to this country as a young lad with his parents who homestead in Dakotah, then moved to Tintah, Minn., where they resided for many years.
Surviving are three sons, Adolph, on the home farm, Clarence, of Lemmon, S.D., and Herman. Mr. Shebeck made his home with his sister, Mrs. Frank Simmer in this city. He is survived by one brother, John Shebeck of this city and the following sisters: Mrs. Simmer Mrs. Frank Kimmel of Washington, D.C, Rose Shebeck, who lives in Maryland Mrs. Almstad of Spokane, Wash., Mrs. Henry Snyder of this city, Mrs. Frank Forman who lives in Iowa.
