Obituary
Miss Simonson, Wahpeton Native, Passes in Minot
Miss Jenny Simonson, Minot former resident of Richland County, died Tuesday at a hospital in Minot. She was 73 years old.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Vertin Funeral home chapel in Wahpeton with Rev. P.A. Gisvold of Wahpeton officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery here.
She was born in Wahpeton, December 28, 1884, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Simonson. She grew up and attended local schools graduating from the State School of Science. She taught commercial subjects at several schools throughout the state, the last position at Page. N.D.
After retiring from teaching she returned to Wahpeton but later went to Minot.
Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Bertha Finch of Bozeman, Mont. A brother, Sam and a sister, Mrs. Warren Dodds preceded her in death.
