Obituary
Mrs. Dow received word this week of the death of her sister, Mrs. Emma H. Smith, at her home in Hyannis, Nebraska. Mrs. Smith will be remembered by some of the old timers here and particularly in Abercrombie as a the wife of Frank Smith, who at one time published a newspaper at Abercrombie known as the Abercrombie Scout. They left this section many years ago. The body will be brought to Wahpeton by Mrs. Smith's son, Millard, and is expected Thursday evening or Friday morning. Brief services will be held at Fairview cemetery, the regular service having been conducted before shipment at Hyannis. Rev. Bergman will officiate.
