Obituary
MRS. S. STANLEY
Mrs. Fannie J. Stanley, wife of Solomon T. Stanley of this city, died at a sanitarium at Waukesha, Wis., last Sunday evening, June 18, of diabetes.
She, in company with Mrs. Dow, left some two or three weeks ago for Rochester, where Mrs. Stanley received a thorough examination and was advised to go to Waukesha as the only place where she would be likely to receive any benefit. Accordingly they journeyed to Waukesha, but the disease had progressed so far that nothing could be done for her, and death occured as stated above.
The remains were brought to Wahpeton for burial, arriving here Tuesday evening on the 6:40 G. N. train. The funeral will be held Friday afternoon, a short service at the home on the south 2nd street at 1:30 p. m. and at the Congregational church at 2:00 p. m.
Fannie Losinger was born in Tioga County, Pa., August 10, 1859. When she was a small child, her parents moved to Stewartville, Minn. When a young woman she moved to Doran, Minn., living there until 1895 when she married S T. Stanley and moved to Wahpeton where for twenty years she had led a quiet, happy life. Her husband, one brother and many friends mourn her loss.
