Obituary
Mrs. R. Stein Rites Thursday In Wahpeton
Mrs. Reinhardt Stein, 55 year old resident of this city, died Saturday evening in St. Francis hospital where she had been a patient the past three weeks.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at two o’clock from Immanuel Lutheran church with Rev. Henry Fry officiating and interment will be in Fairview Cemetery. The body will lie in state Wednesday and until the hour of services. Friends may call at Vertin’s Funeral Home, Wahpeton.
Minnie Klingbell was born in Duerr township near Lidgerwood, Dec. 8, 1900 and moved to Wahpeton with her parents as a child. She grew to womanhood here, graduated from Wahpeton high school and attended Science School. She was married June 1, 1921 to Reinhardt Stein. She and her husband have been employed by Wahpeton Laundry for many years.
She is survived by her husband and daughter Thelma, Mrs. Larry Bunch of Lakewood, Calif., and three grandchildren. New son, Garland Stein died in 1954.
She is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Elsie Krause, of this city and a brother, Herman Klinbell, of Seattle, Wash. Her parents and two brothers preceded her in death.
