AGED RICHLAND WOMAN ANSWERS FINAL CALL Mrs. Wilhelmina Stern, Resident of Richland County for 40 Years, Died Last Thursday Mrs. Wilhelmina Stern who has lived in Wahpeton for the last 10 years with her son Robert Stern, and who has been a resident of Richland county for the last
40 years, died at her son’s home last Thursday, death was caused by myocarditis.
She was born in Germany 79 years ago and came to this country 41 years ago settling near Fergus Falls. After living there about 18 months the family moved to a farm near Hankinson. The deceased lived there until 1913 when she came to Wahpeton to live with her son Robert.
She has five children living. They are: Robert and Gust of Wahpeton, August of Moorhead, Frank of Idaho and Mrs. Wilhelmina Holtz of Fergus Falls. She also had 32 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held from the Evangelical Lutheran church last Saturday afternoon with Rev. R. J. Becker officiating. The body was laid to rest in the Fairview cemetery.
