Obituary
Lyla Rose Stiller
Lyla Rose Stiller, 50, Wahpeton, died Friday, Sept. 28 at St. Francis Medical Center, Breckenridge. The funeral will be at 10:30 Tuesday at Bethel Lutheran Church, Wahpeton, Rev. M.L. Hartmann officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, Wahpeton. Visitation is the afternoon and evening (Monday) with a prayer service at 7:30 at Vertin's-Wahpeton Funeral Home Chapel. There will also be visitation at the church for the hour prior to the service.
Lyla Rose Schultz was born March 13, 1934 at Breckenridge to John and Jose. (Hanson) Schultz. She was raised in the Summit Township-Dwight area and attended rural school. She graduated from Wahpeton High School in 1951. She was employed at the National Tea Grocery Store in Wahpeton for about four years. She married Donald (Rusty) Stiller May 19, 1956 at Wahpeton. They lived at Hebron, N.D. and later moved to Wahpeton in 1958 where they have lived since.
She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church, Church Circle, and VFW Auxiliary, Wahpeton.
Survivors include her husband, two sons, Scott and Tim, both at home; a sister and two brothers, Mrs. Earl (Joyce) Tobias, Wahpeton; James, Morton, Ill., and John, Olivehurst, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
Casket bearers will be her husband, her sons, a brother, James; a nephew Randy Tobias, and Charles Ehrens.
