Obituary
Luella Sturma Wahpeton
Luella Sturma, 62, Wahpeton, N.D., died Wednesday, May 29, 1991, at St. Francis Medical Center, Breckenridge. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 1, at Bethel Lutheran Church, Wahpeton, with the Rev. Marvin Hartmann officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Visitation will be today (Friday) from 3-8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service at Vertin-Munson Wahpeton Funeral Home east chapel. There will also be visitation one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
She was born June 30, 1928, at Wyndmere, N.D., to Lionel and AnnaFa Krogness. She was raised and attended school in Wyndmere. She married Clarence Breuer Dec. 28, 1943, in Mooreton. The couple lived in the Mooreton area. On Dec. 17, 1986, she married Bill Sturma of Wahpeton. They resided in Wahpeton.
She was member of Bethel Lutheran Church. She did volunteer work at the Leach Home and enjoyed needlepoint, crocheting and baking.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Sturma, Wahpeton; six daughters, Lorraine Baumann, Gardenia, Calif.; Diane (Mrs. Russell) Waldorff, International Falls, Minn.; Danita (Mrs. Ed) Burhans, Doran; Janice Weber, Breckenridge; Kathleen Herding, Madison, S.D.; and Cynthia (Mrs. Mark) Mathys, Ray, Minn.; three sons, Lawrence Breuer, Sussex, Wis.; Clarence Breuer, Jr., Madison, S.D.; and Rodney Breuer, Rapid City, S.D.; 30 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her mother, AnnaFa Krogness, Wahpeton; two sisters, Ramona (Mrs. Alvin) O'Clair, Tolley, N.D.; Caroline (Mrs. Marvin) Marr, Bolingbrook, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her father and three grandsons, Matthew Burns, Christopher Braun and Steven Braun.
