Obituary
Kenneth Stow
Kenneth Stow, 70, Breckenridge, died Thursday at his home. Funeral services were this afternoon (Monday) at Breckenridge Lutheran Church, the Rev. Eugene Floistad officiating. Burial was in Fairview Memorial Gardens.
Casket bearers were Elmo Meldgaard, Wallace Ladwig, Fred Seibel, George Folin, Al Thielman and Lawrence Dahlman.
He was born May 8, 1909 to Coy and Winnie (Miller) Stow at Ottawa, Kan. The family moved to Sioux City, Iowa where he grew up and attended school. The family later moved to Breckenridge. He married Louis Gunness Oct. 24, 1941 at Breckenridge where they have resided since.
He was an automobile salesman for 20 years in Breckenridge and Wahpeton and worked at Breckenridge Electric six years. He was a member of Breckenridge Lutheran Church, Western Minnesota Steam Thresherman's Association and the Wilkin County Historical Society.
He is survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter, Ronald, Stillwater, Minn.; Wayne, New Brighton, Minn.; Mrs. Wallace (Beverly) Smith, Anchorage, Alaska; seven grandchildren; his mother, Winnie Stow, Carmichael, Calif.; a brother and a sister, Cleland, Long Beach, Calif.; and Mrs. Lorraine Taylor, Carmichael, Calif.
