Obituary
Benjamin Schillinger
Funeral services for Benjamin Schillinger, 82, of Breckenridge will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Breckenridge Lutheran Church with Rev. Eugene Floistad officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens, Wahpeton.
Visitation will be Monday afternoon and evening at Joseph Vertin & Sons Funeral Home, Breckenridge, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. There will also be visitation one hour prior to services at the church.
Benjamin Schillinger was born Nov. 19, 1892 in Spink Co., S. D. to Jacob and Louise (Kutzer) Schillinger. When he was a young boy, he moved with his parents to the Fairmount area where he grew up and attended school.
He married Helen Welharticky Nov. 12, 1923 in Breckenridge where they have since resided.
He was a member of the Breckenridge Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Donald, of Minnetonka, Minn.; three grandchildren; two brothers, Ferd of Wahpeton and Richard of Breckenridge; and two sisters, Mrs. Dave (Tillie) Miller, and Mrs. Mary Blood of Minneapolis.
Arrangements are with Joseph Vertin & Sons Funeral Home, Breckenridge.
