Obituary
Mrs. Ed Schmidt Rites Thursday In Wahpeton
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the Vertin Funeral Chapel in this city for Mrs. Edward Schmidt, 66, of Fergus Falls, who died Monday at Otter Tail County Nursing Home.
Annette Madson was born in Spring Valley, Wis., Aug. 14, 1895, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lars Madson.
She was married to Ed. Schmidt, and they lived in Wahpeton until six years ago when they moved to Fergus Falls. She had been a patient in the rest home a year.
She is survived by her husband and a daughter, Mrs. Sam Pierce, of Wadena, Minn.
Rev. Laurel Udden; of Fergus Falls, officiated at the last rites and interment was in Fairview Memorial Garden.
