Anna Schultz

Mrs. Richard (Anna) Schultz, 90, Wahpeton, died Tuesday at St. Francis Hospital, Breckenridge. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the United Methodist Church, Wahpeton, the Rev. Norman Winkelmann officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens, Wahpeton.

Visitation will be Friday afternoon and evening with a 6 p.m. prayer service at Vertin's Wahpeton Funeral Home East Chapel. There will also be visitation for the hour prior to services at the church.

Casket bearers will be Gary, Jan, Todd and Richard Schultz, Jeffry Bernardy, and Michael Marincel.

Anna Kohlhoff was born Dec. 28, 1888 at Paynesville, Minn., the daughter of William and Anna (Grudtzmacher) Kohlhoff. At a young age, she moved with the family to the Great Bend area. She attended school in center Township and married Richard Schultz March 20, 1913 at Great Bend. They farmed in the Great Bend and Mooreton area, retiring in 1955. They then moved to Wahpeton. He died in 1959.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church and was active in circle at the church.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mike (Ione) Marincel, Parkville, Minn., Mrs. Joe (LeAnn) Bernardy, Detroit Lakes, Minn.; four sons, Wilbur, Rock Springs, Wyo., Lester, Glencoe, Minn., Gordon, Stanchfield, Minn., Roy, MInneapolis, Minn.; 28 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one brother, Clarence, Lake Hughes, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, two sisters and one brother.
