Obituary
A. T. Simensen, Former Resident Dies in Fargo
Alfred T. Simensen, 61 former resident of Kindred and Wahpeton, died at his home in Fargo Sunday.
Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Hanson-Runsvold Chapel, Fargo Rev. R. D. Mellum officiating. Interment was at Fairview Memorial Gardens, Wahpeton. Mr. Simensen was born March 20, 1902, at Kindred and farmed in the area for many years retiring when he moved to Wahpeton.
He married Florence Rasmussen Nov. 2, 1946.
She survives as do five sisters, Mrs. Peter (Clara) Borreson, Kindred; Mrs. Ray (Selma) Gilberg, rural Moorhead; Mrs. Chris (Mabel) Solhjen, Fargo; Mrs. Paul Johnson, Fairhope, Ala. and three brothers, Melvin, Kindred; Edwin, Davenport, N.D. and Randolph, Meridian, Miss.
He was a member of the Breckenridge Lutheran church.
