Harriet Smith
Funeral services for Mrs. Robert (Harriet) Smith, 35, rural Wahpeton were held today at the United Church of Christ, Wahpeton, with Rev. J. Edward Krueger officiating. Burial and interment was at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Wahpeton.
Mrs. Smith died Friday morning at St. Francis Hospital, Breckenridge.
Casket bearers were Donald Kub, James Score, Elwood Lund, Alfred Althoff, Peter Reiland, and Donald Jost.
Harriet Smith was born June 25, 1939 at Wahpeton to Pauline and Conrad Crogan. She grew up in rural Wahpeton, attended grade school in Dwight and graduated from Wahpeton High School. She was employed as a telephone operator in Wahpeton until November 1957 when she married Robert Smith.
Mrs. Smith was a member of the United Church of Christ in Wahpeton and also the Wahpeton Eagle's Auxiliary.
Survivors are her husband Robert, two daughters Virginia and Carol, two sons Darrell and James, one sister, Mrs. Eldon (Catherine) Larson, and two brothers, Duane and Donald Crogan all of real Wahpeton.
Arrangements were by Vertin's-Wahpeton.
