Obituary

Lorina Stoltenow Funeral Monday

Funeral services for Lorina Stoltenow, 62, of Wahpeton were held Monday (today) in the Immanuel Lutheran Church with the Rev. Edward J. Rutter officiating. Stanley Strege was the organist and the vocalists were the Ladies Choir. Burial was in Fairview Memorial Gardens. Miss Stoltenow died Friday. Vertin's Wahpeton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Casket bearers were Kent Quake, Arlin Bohn, Wayne Brand, Dale Stoltenow, Thomas Neils and James Sedler.

Miss Stoltenow was born Jan. 11, 1908, in Mooreton, Township, rural Wahpeton, the daughter of Herman and Anna (Mueller) Stoltenow. She attended local schools and lived on the home farm with her parents. In 1948, they retired and she moved to Wahpeton with them where she has since made her home. Her father died in 1962 and her mother in 1967. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and the Wahpeton Senior Citizens Club.

She is survived by six sisters and three brothers, Mrs. Leonard (Gustina) Radke of Liderwood, Mrs. Leslie (Adella) Brand, Clarence and Leonard, all of Wahpeton, Mrs. Edwin (Helen) Bohn of Great Bend, Mrs. Darryl (Emma) Quake of Dwight, Mrs. Reinhardt (Anna) Neils of Sauk Rapids, Minn., Mrs. Monroe (Ruby) Sedler of Hankinson and Raymond of Ada, Minn.; and several nieces and newphews.
