Obituary
J. G. Stroehl Dies Saturday In Breckenridge
Joseph G. Stroehl, 72, died Sunday at his home here.
Funeral services will be at 2 Thursday at the Evangelical United Brethen Church here with Rev. Charles Ritter officiating.
Mr. Stroehl was born Feb. 3, 1895 at Lidgerwood, where he was raised and attended school. He was married to Lena Loll, Oct 11, 1917 at Great Bend and farmed at Lidgerwood for 32 years in Moran Township. In 1950, they moved to Wahpeton where they have lived since.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, Leonard of Oak Lawn, Ill., Earl of Fargo; one daughter, Mrs. Bernard (Marie) Jensvold of Geneseo; five grandchildren; one brother, John of Kulm, N.D., and two sisters, Mrs. George (Kate) Callings of Lidgerwood and Mrs. John (Anna) Kraemer of Lidgerwood.
He was a member of the EUB church here.
Preceding him in death were one brother and one sister.
Vettin’s Wahpeton is in charge of arrangements.
