Dead Man Found in Car Parked Here
Invalid Succumbs on Wahpeton Street Sometime Friday
Fritjof Tellberg, of near Breckenridge, was found dead in his car parked in Wahpeton, at about nine Friday evening. Tellberg had been an invalid all of his life and had been in Wahpeton for treatment. He left home in the morning of that day. It was assumed that he did some shopping and then had the treatment.
The body was found in a car parked on Sixth Street. The dead body had slumped down in the car in such a manner as to not be visible from the street or sidewalk and passersby were unaware of the dead man’s presence until the family came in search of Tellberg.
They recognized the car and looked in the window to find the body. Fritjof Tellberg was a resident of Nordick township, Wilkin county, Minn. He was born Sept 21, 1902 at Kulm. He came to Wilkin county in 1938 with his parents Mr. and Mrs. John Tellberg. He was single.
Besides his parents, he is survived by five brothers, Henry of Sao Paulo, Brazil; Richard of Detroit, Mich.; Benjamin of Detroit, Mich; and Paul and Astor at home; and three sisters, Mrs. Ida Mauch and Miss Sarah Tellberg, of Detroit, Mich, and Miss Ellen of Kent.
Funeral services will be held from the Vertin Funeral chapel in Wahpeton Tuesday, Rev. P.A Gisvold officiating and burial will be in Fairview cemetery.
