Charles Thompson-1897
Charles Thompson, Esq., died at his home in LaMars township Wednesday morning, aged to 66 years. Mr. Thompson was born in Wisconsin, and lived in Grant County until he came to Dakota territory in 1879. He lived in Wahpeton for many years, his wife dying here about 10 years ago. Two daughters have also died since coming to Wahpeton. The funeral will be held in Wahpeton Friday. The deceased leaves four sons, John D, Charles, William, Eugene Thompson, all residents of this vicinity.
