Mavis Treitline
Mrs. Williard (Mavis) Treitline, 48, Hankinson, died Monday evening at St. Francis Hospital, Breckenridge. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 :30 at the Calvary Lutheran Church, Hankinson with the Rev. Richard Owens officiating. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Wahpeton.
Visitation will be held Wednesday evening with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. at Wipperman Funeral Home chapel, Hankinson, and continue Thursday morning until noon at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service at the church.
Mavis Elaine McMorrow was born May 17, 1927 at Breckenridge to Robert E and Clara Kath McMorrow. She grew up at Breckenridge and attended school here. She worked and lived at Helena, Mont. and Wahpeton.
She was married to Willard Treitline on June 28, 1974 at Webster, S.D. Since their marriage, she lived at Hankinson. She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her husband, a son, Sgt. Louis Peterschick, Ft. Riley, Kansas, two grandchildren; two brothers, Merle McMorrow, Bismarck and Robert McMorrow, Fergus Falls; three sisters, Mrs. Don (Betty) Petron, Williston, N.D., Mrs. Arthur (Judy) Azure, Jr., Beaverton, Ore. and Mrs. Warren (Jo Ann) Haddock, Medford, Ore.
She was preceded by her parents and two brothers, Kenneth and Darrell.
Pallbearers will be Marvin Erdmann, Milford Wodfork, Duaine Bjerke, John Malachka, Willard, Jr. and Walter Tretline. Organist will be Miss Pernell Knutson with vocalist Art Azure, Sr.
