Obituary
T. Oliver Thoraldson Dies; Rites in Moorhead and Wahpeton
T. Oliver Thoraldson, 71, of Moorhead, former employee of the Globe Gazette, died Saturday there. Funeral services will be held at 11 Tuesday in the Wright Funeral Home, 605 2nd Ave. S., Moorhead, with the Rev. G. Walther Tolo conducting the service. Burial will be at 12:45 p.m. in Fairview Memorial Gardens in Wahpeton with the Rev. Lyle Peterson of Wahpeton conducting the committal service.
Casket bearers will be Cameron Schroeder, Art Ramage, John and Paul Holm, Bob Leabo, and Al Boeck.
Mr. Thoraldson was born at Grand Forks March 22, 1899, the son of Gunder and Ingeborg (Jore) Thoraldson. He grew up at Grand Forks and lived in several towns in North Dakota and Minnesota before accepting employment as a book binder by the Globe Gazette in Wahpeton. He married Mrs. Oveida Holm in Moorhead in 1934. The couple resided in Moorhead the past year.
He is survived by his wife, 800 2nd Ave. N., Moorhead; three stepchildren, Mrs. John (Imogene) Johnson of Canoga Park, Calif., Mrs. Ronald (Violet) Nordstrom of Moorhead and Virgil Holm of Fargo; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; Three brothers and six sisters, Arthur, G. Edward and Obbie Thoraldson, Mrs. Otto Gullingsrud, Mrs. Allen Wagner, Miss Lou Thoraldson, all of Grand Forks, Mrs. H. A. Ramage, Independence, Mo., Mrs. Leonard Miller, Alderwood Manor, Wash., and Mrs. E. F. Bogan, San Jose, Calif.
