Obituary
Milton Vedder
Services for Milton Vedder, 65, of Breckenridge were held this afternoon (Monday) at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Wahpeton, with Rev. Ernest Bartels officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Veddar died Friday at St. Francis Hospital, Breckenridge.
Casket bearers were Robert Stott; Lyle and Lowell Vedder and Jeff, Bruce, and Dennis Roeder.
Milton Vedder was born Feb. 12, 1912 at Hankinson to Robert and Marie (Wallman) Vedder. He attended schools in the Hankinson area. He worked 12 years for the Land O'Lakes Creamery there. He also served in the Army as an interpreter and received the Bronze Star in the service. He later worked for the B & W Creamery in Breckenridge, from which he retired and continued to live there.
He married Leona Raeder June 14, 1936 at Hankinson.
Survivors are his wife; two sons, David of Fergus Falls and Robert of Breckenridge; a daughter, Mrs. Gene (Diana) Stotts of Roseau, Minn.; five grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Ted (Esther) Roeder of Hankinson; and a brother, Orin of Hankinson.

The Garden of the Christus is located in the Memorial Gardens, which comprises the northern half of the cemetery.
