Obituary
Martin Voves
A Christian Science service will be held Friday for former Wahpeton businessman Martin C. Voves, 87, who died Tuesday morning in Minneapolis. The service is at Vertin's Wahpeton Funeral Home Chapel with Henry Martinson as Reader. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Casketbearers are Donald, Roy Jr., and Charles Loeks; William Erbes, Marty Erbes and B. Eugene Erb.
Mr. Voves is survived by his wife Mattie, three daughters, Mrs. Herbert (Kathleen) Garrett, Cheverly, Maryland; Mrs. Bernard (Ina) Erv, Coleur, Missouri, Mrs. Francis (Mattie Lou) Erbes, Colfax, three sons, Donald, Houston, Texas; Robert, New Ulm, Minn.; Martin, Jr., San Diego Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Max and Mrs. Myrtle Solsten, Rockford, Ill.; 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers and one grandchild.
