Obituary
Fredricka Welch
Final rites for Mrs. Frank (Fredricka) Welch, 65, formerly of Wahpeton, will be Saturday at 2 p.m., at Vertins-Wahpeton chapel with Rev. J. Edward Krueger officiating. Mrs. Welch died Wednesday at Dalton, Minn.
Visitation will be Friday afternoon and evening at Vertins-Wahpeton West chapel.
Mrs. Welch was born Oct. 12, 1908 in the Star Lake, Minn. area to Fred and Jessie Femling. She graduated from Pelican Rapids high school and the St. Francis Hospital school of nursing. She had been employed as a nurse at St. Francis Hospital and Home, retiring in 1972.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church.
Surviving are four sons, David, Frank and Jerald, all of Fergus Falls, Minn., and Patrick of Dalton; two brothers, Frank of Minneapolis, and William of Winamecha, Nev.; two sisters, Mrs. Caroline Bentrude, Pelican Rapids, and Mrs. Frank (Dorothy) Vallee, Hemet, Calif.; 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild. She is preceded by three brothers.
Interment will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens.
