Obituary
Funeral Service Set Here Tuesday For Mrs. Worner
Funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Evangelical United Brethern church here for Mrs. Oscar (Dorothy) Worner, 73, of Wahpeton. Mrs. Worner died Friday in St Francis hospital after a long illness
The Rev. Walter Elmer will officiate at the last rites with Schmitt-Poulton Funeral Home of Wahpeton in charge of arrangements. Interment will be in Fairview Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Harvey Loll, Donald Gripentrog, Rudy Beling, Earl Stoltenow, Lester Deike and Orville Popp.
Mrs. Worner, the former Dorothy Dehlendorf, was born on Nov. 19, 1883 at Sioux Falls, S. D. She moved with her parents to Milbank, S. D., at the age of 17 and was married there Sept 21 1910, to Mr. Worner. They operated a general store at Great Bend, N. D., until 1953 when they retired to Wahpeton.
Surviving are Mr. Worner; two sons, Oliver of Paynesville, Minn., and Morris of Great Bend; two daughters, Mrs. Harvey (Florence) Thiele and Mrs. Manville (Alice) Stoltenow, Great Bend, two brothers, Chas., Dehlendorf of Vancouver, B. C and Edward of Spokane, Wash., a sister, Mrs. Emma Fischer, Bismarck and eight grandchildren.
