Miss Helen Walton Dies Sunday At St. Mary Hospital
Funeral Services Will Be Held Wednesday Morning
Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at ten o’clock from Trinity Episcopal church for Miss Helen Walton, daughter of Rev. W. M. Walton, who died Sunday evening at St. Mary hospital.
Helen Walton was born December 4, 1904, at Bathgate, N.D., the daughter of Rev. Walton and the late Mrs. Walton. She came to Wahpeton in 1915 with her parents and attended public schools here and attended public schools here. She graduated from All Saints school at Sioux Falls, S.D.
She spent most of the adult life in Wahpeton where her father was for many years pastor of Trinity Church.
Surviving are her father, two sisters, Mrs. M.J.C. Gill of Treherne, Manitoba, and Miss Alice Walton of this city. Two nephews, Walton Gill, of Denver, Colo., and Hubert Gill of New York, and a niece, Mrs. R. D. Davidson of Mobridge, S.D.
Rev Tillberg who recently resigned as pastor of Trinity church to re-enter the U.S. Navy, will come to Wahpeton from Minneapolis to conduct the last rites. Interment will be in the family lot at Fairview Cemetery.
