Obituary
WELL KNOWN FARMER DIED OF HEART TROUBLE Henry Webber, Residing West of Wahpeton, Passed Away Monday – Funeral Services Wednesday Henry Webber, fifty-nine years of age, residing on a farm just west of Wahpeton, passed away Monday evening about six o’clock. He had been troubled with a heart affliction for several weeks, but had been ill enough to take to his bed only for two or three days before his death. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at
two o’clock by Rev. E. A. Allin at the Schmitt & Olson funeral parlors, followed by interment in Fairview cemetery. Mr. Webber was born in Switzerland in 1864. He came to America in 1882, at the age of eighteen. He lived at Osseo, Minn., for nine years and then moved to Big Sone county where he engaged in farming. He married Miss Mary Luxinger and Odessa, Minn., who, with two children, Henry aged 27 and Mary aged 24 survive him. Both the children are living at home. The family moved to Wahpeton in 1913, and have been farming here since that time. Mr. Webber has two brothers and a sister living, but they were unable to attend the funeral here because of illness in their families. Three brothers of Mrs. Webber, with their wives, were present, coming from the neighborhood of Ortonville, the former home of the Webbers.
