Funeral For Mrs. Mary Webber To Be Held Friday
Came to Richland County In 1914 To Live in Center Township
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Webber, aged 66, who had lived a mile west of Wahpeton in Center township since 1914 and who died Tuesday will be held Friday afternoon at two o’clock from the Schmitt & Olson chapel. Rev Hartman will officiate.
Mary Luchsinger was born in Minneapolis Dec 11, 1874. She spent most of her childhood in Odessa, Minn., and on July 4, 1893, was married to Henry Webber, who preceded his wife in death a number of years ago. They established their home at Correll, Minn., and lived there until 1914 when they came to Richland county and purchased the property Center township which has since been the family home.
Two children were born to them, Henry Webber, of Underwood, Minn., and Mrs. Ella Kuebler of Wahpeton. Mrs. Webber is also survived by one grandchild, Nelda Kuebler.
Surviving are four brothers, Mike Luchsinger, of Ortonville, Minn., Jacob Luchsinger of Johnson, Minn., Fred Luchsinger, of Lisbon, and Henry Luchsinger whose home is in Canada. There are two sisters Kate Luchsinger, of Correll, Minn., and Mrs. Wm. Chapman, of Regina, Sask., Canada.
Interment will be in the family lot in Fairview cemetery beside her husband. Mrs. Webber’s body was found hanging in the barn of her farm home shortly after six Tuesday night. The county coroner said that death was a suicide and that there would be no inquest.
