L.H. Wegener Rites Wednesday
Breckenridge Man is Laid To Rest
Funeral services for Louis H Wegener, of Breckenridge who died Saturday at St. Francis hospital were held, Wednesday afternoon at the Congregational church with Rev. R. Robinson, of Breckenridge officiating.
Born July 9, 1890 at Parkers Prairie, Minn., he had made his home in Breckenridge for many years and was married there for the second time to Mrs Englund in January of this year.
He is survived by his wife and two sons Ralph, of Sauk Center, and Albert of Glenwood; eight daughters, Sophia Buck of St. Paul; Evelyn LeSuer, of Glenwood, Rose Young of Eagle Bend, Minn.; Clara Ostercamp of Willmar, Minn.; Violet Schlief, of Paynesville; Alma and Alice Wegener, of Minneapolis and by three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Judson, of Henning; Mrs. Emma Sahlie, of Portland, Ore., and Mrs. Ida Martens of Breckenridge. One brother Ed Wegener, lives in Parkers Prairie, Minn. There are 12 grandchildren.
Also left are three stepsons Edwin, Donald and Franklin Homme, and a step daughter, Miss Myrtle Homme. He was preceded in death by his first wife and two sisters.
Interment was in Fairview cemetery near Wahpeton.
