Obituary
William Weiss Of Wahpeton Dies Monday
William Weiss, 71, retired Wahpeton postal employee, died Monday morning in St Francis hospital after a lengthy illness. He had been hospitalized for some time.
Born in Wilkes Barre PA., Jan. 9, 1886, he lived with his parents there as a boy and came to Amberg Wis., with his mother. He worked as a farm laborer in that area for some time.
In 1914 he came to Wahpeton and was employed on farms in the Wahpeton area. He returned east to marry Hazel Letteer at Iron Mountain, Mich. April 20, 1914.
