Mrs. Eva Weiss Dies in Wahpeton

Funeral Services To Be Conducted Saturday Afternoon of This Week Funeral services for Mrs. Eva Weiss, a resident of Wahpeton since 1920, and mother of William Weiss, will be held from the Schmitt and Olson Funeral home Saturday afternoon according to present arrangements, although plans for the services have not been completed.

Eva Kuhm was born April 20, 1866 in Germany and came to Wilkes-Barre, Pa. half a century ago. She came to Wahpeton in 1920, seven years after her husband’s death in Amberg, Wisc. She was married to Charles F Weiss in Wilkes-Barre 47 years ago. She has made her home with Mrs. John Koch for the past few years. She is survived by her son, William Weiss and wife of Wahpeton the present tmepMssB ? ETAO. A sister is believed to be living but at the present time has not been located. There are no other children. There are three grandchildren, George, Marion and Harold

Mrs. Weiss was in excellent health up to Monday morning when she was stricken with a paralytic stroke. She had had breakfast and was ready to go to work. Mrs. Koch went upstairs to see why Mrs. Weiss had not come down and had discovered her lying on the floor. A doctor was called and Mrs. Weiss was removed to the Wahpeton hospital where she passed away at 1:15 Wednesday afternoon.
