Mrs. Welharticky Rites Monday at Breckenridge
Former Teached Dies Friday at Her Sister’s Home
Mrs. Ed. Welharticky, who died Friday at the home of her sister, Mrs. Clark Hanson in Breckenridge, was laid to rest in Fairview cemetery Monday afternoon following rites at Breckenridge Lutheran church conducted by Rev. P.A. Gisvold.
Ethel V. Larson was born July 13, 1903 at Kent, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ole Larson. She attended Breckenridge schools and graduated from Moorhead State Teachers College. Prior to her marriage Oct. 10, 1946 she taught for many years in Wilkin county schools.
She is survived by her husband three brothers, William and Melvin of Breckenridge and Clifford Larson of this city; three sisters, Mrs. Hanson, Emily Larson and Mrs. Lloyd Hanson of Breckenridge. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Pete.
Mrs. Welharticky was a faithful member of the Lutheran church and of the Ladies Guild, in which she was a devoted worker. She was loved and respected by all who knew her.
Pallbearers at the last rites were six nephews.
