Mrs. Maria Winther Dies on Saturday
Funeral Tuesday in Breckenridge
Mrs. Maria Winther, 69 of Wahpeton, long time resident of this area, passed away Saturday at a local hospital.
Mrs. Winther was born Feb 28, 1830, in Abercrombie township and in 1911 was married to Johannes Winther.
She is survived by two sons, Axsel of Wahpeton and Melvin of Everett, Wash., one daughter, Mrs. Norman Huseth of McLeod, two sisters Mrs. Emil Paulson of Wahpeton and Karen Nelson of Abercrombie, one brother Johannes Johnson of Wahpeton and eight grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Mrs. Winther was a member of the Bible church.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Joe Vertin and Sons funeral home in Breckenridge. Walter Jardine will officiate. Interment will be in the Fairview cemetery in Wahpeton.
