Olga Witte
The funeral for Mrs. Ben (Olga) Witte, 72, of Lisbon and formerly of Wahpeton was Monday afternoon at Bethel Lutheran Church, Wahpeton, with Rev. Marvin L. Hartmann and Rev. Ray Seigle of Lisbon officiating. Burial was at Fairview Cemetery, Wahpeton.
Mrs. Witte died Friday at her home in Lisbon.
Organist was Mrs. Horace Lahren and soloist was Lyle Jacobson.
Casket bearers were Lorney Pavek, David Tolo, Carl Glander, Vernon Frank, Milton Sedler and Kenneth Lee.
Olga Sedler was born Feb. 10, 1903 at Wahpeton to William and Emelia (Otto) Sedler. She was raised in Center Township.
She married Ben Witte Mar. 24, 1927. He died in 1938. She moved to Wahpeton the following year where she lived until two years ago when she moved to Lisbon.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Lisbon.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Gerald (Bonnie) Dick of Englevale, N.D.; one granddaughter; two great-grandchildren; and two nieces.
She was preceded in death by her husband; five brothers; and one sister.
