Obituary

CLARA YAEGER STRAND’S DAUGHTER PASSES AWAY Fourteen-year-old Gladys Wright and Mrs. Iverson’s Brother Dead After Long Suffering Tuberculosis brought death this week to a Wahpeton boy and a Wahpeton girl. This afternoon at 2 o’clock from Foss M. E. church funeral services will be conducted for Gladys Wright, 14-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Wright, 612 South Second street. At one o’clock rites will be conducted at the home. Gladys was born at Kenmare, but came to Wahpeton in 1916 with her parents. Her father is car inspector for the Great Northern at this point. The only other child is Roger, nine years old. Relatives here for the funeral are Mrs. James Martin of Spicer, Minn., Mrs. Frank Buck of Superior, Wisconsin, and Mrs. L. E. Iler, Pennock, Minn., sisters of Mrs. Wright.

Saturday afternoon at the Methodist church rites were conducted for William Iver Maynard, aged 19, brother of Mrs. Edna Iverson. The youth died Wednesday. He had been ill for more than three years.
