Obituary
Florence Zahrbock
Mrs. Leonard (Florence) Zahrbock, 77, Wahpeton, died last night (Tuesday) at the Wahpeton Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Vertin's Wahpeton Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Norman Winkelman officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Wahpeton. Visitation will be Thursday afternoon and evening and Friday until the time of service at the chapel.
Florence Brendefur was born Aug. 11, 1902 at Tintah. She graduated from Tintah High School and attended Moorhead State College. She married Leonard Zahrbock Sept. 17, 1927 at Tintah. They lived in Barrett and Duluth, Minn. where her husband operated garages. In 1950, they moved to Breckenridge. He was employed at Lillegard's. They moved to Wahpeton in 1960. He died Oct. 18, 1975.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. B.J. Williams, Jr., Wahpeton; Marilyn Grenell, Minneapolis; six grandchildren; two brothers, Archie, Cyrus, Minn.; Raymond, Campbell; and a sister, Mrs. Genevieve Ellingson, Minneapolis.
