Obituary
Mrs. Radke, 78, Long in Wilkin, Passes Tuesday
Funeral service will be Friday at 2 p.m. in the Breckenridge Lutheran Church for Mrs. William (Tena) Radke 78, resident of Wilkin County for more than 50 years, who died Tuesday at her home in Breckenridge.
Rev. T. C. Hanson will officiate with interment in Fairview Cemetery at Wahpeton. Visitation at Jos. Vertin and Sons Funeral Home in Breckenridge will be Thursday afternoon and evening and until Friday morning at 10 a.m.
Mrs. Radke was born Aug. 10, 1877, in Germany and came to the United States with her parents when 17 years old. They lived first in the Hankinson vicinity for a time before moving to Wahpeton.
She married Mr. Radke in 1901 and they moved to Brushvale community where they engaged in farming for 28 years. She was a member of the Breckenridge Lutheran Church.
Surviving are two sons, William of Breckenridge and Carl of Perham, Minn.; two brothers, Carl Glander of Wahpeton and August Glander of Minneapolis; and four grandchildren.
