Pioneer Wahpeton Woman Dies Here
Funeral Services for Mrs. Fred Radke Will Be Held Wednesday from Bethel Lutheran
Mrs. Fred Radke, for many years a resident of Wahpeton but then a resident of Breckenridge, died Sunday at the home of her son, William Radke, in Breckenridge. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 Wednesday from the William Radke home 511 Seventh Street South in Breckenridge, and at two o’clock from the Bethel Lutheran Church in Wahpeton. Mrs. Radke was born February 21, 1852 at Schieboelbein, Germany, and came to America May 3rd, 1883.
Fred Radke passed away here about 15 years ago. Mrs. Radke made her home here until two and a half years ago, when she went to Breckenridge to make her home with her son.
She is survived by three sons, William Radke, Breckenridge; Paul of Washington, and Carl of Salem, Oregon.
