Obituary
Mrs. J. Reinke Dies Today At Rehab Center
Mrs. John (Emma) Reinke 91, Wahpeton, died this morning (Thursday) at the Wahpeton Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2 Saturday from Immanuel Lutheran Church, Rev. Edward J. Rutter officiating.
A Prayer Service will be at 9 p.m. Friday, with visitation at Vertin’s Wahpeton during the day and evening and until noon on Saturday and at the church from 1 to 2 p.m.
Born Jan. 22, 1873 at Belle Plaine, Minn., Mrs. Reinke was raised there and married John Reinke at Belle Plaine in Feb. 1891. They moved to Richland County in Center Township where they farmed until 1924 when they moved to Wahpeton. Mr. Reinke died in 1937.
Mrs. Reinke continued to live in Wahpeton. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Ladies Aid, and the Church Aid Circle.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Dick (Ross) Deede, Wahpeton, and Mrs. John (Leona) Miller, Wahpeton; one son, Louis of St Paul; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She also raised a grandson, Jerry Coffey of Thief River Falls Minn.
Preceding her in death were a daughter, Mrs. Henry (Elsie) Coffey.
