Obituary
Funeral Service Scheduled for Mrs. J. Rickert
Mrs. Jacob (Eva) Rickert, 79, Wahpeton, passed away Saturday in an area hospital. Christian Science services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday in Vertin’s-Wahpeton Funeral Home.
Mrs. Alice Dunkirk, Fargo, will be the reader. Visitation will be at the Funeral home this evening and Tuesday until the time of services.
Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Born at Fergus Falls, Minn., Oct. 11, 1882, Mrs. Rickert moved to Spokane, Wash., at age 17. She attended Lewis and Clark University. She married Jacob Rickert, a lawyer, Nov. 25, 1908.
They lived at Tracy, Minn., for 11 years where Mr. Rickert was employed as a bank cashier before moving to Minneapolis where they resided for 13 years. They came to Wahpeton in 1930 where Mr. Rickert was associated with the Farmers Credit Co. He died in 1957. Mrs. Rickert was a resident of the Wahpeton Rehabilitation Center for the past seven years.
Surviving are a son, Allison, Grand Forks, and two grandchildren.
