Mrs. John Risbeck Dies Here Sunday
Funeral Services Set Tentatively for Wednesday
Mrs. John Risbeck died here Sunday morning. She had been in ill health for some time. For the past five years, she had been making her home with her mother, Ms. Wilhelmina Childs. Funeral services will probably be Wednesday afternoon. Complete arrangements will be made after the arrival of Mrs. Risbeck’s daughter, Miss Sibyl from Washington.
Sibyl Iona Childs was born at Long Prairie, Minn., June 28, 1890, and in 1896 came to Colfax vicinity with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Childs. In 1910, she came to Wahpeton. She was married 25 years ago to John Risbeck at Wahpeton.
Mr. Risbeck died five years ago at Sheyenne, N.D., and Mrs. Risbeck came o Wahpeton to make her home with her mother. Besides her mother and her daughter, Mrs. Risbeck is survived b two brothers, Clark of Colfax and Ernest of Aberdeen, Wash., and a sister Mrs. O. A. Rigg of Portland, Ore. Mrs. Risbek is a member of the Order of Eastern Star at Tulare, S. D., and of the Macabees in Breckenridge. The body is at Schmitt & Olson chapel.
